  10. Green Day opening the show. - Green FUCKING Day! Yes, they were nominated but I was never expecting this opening. I spent the entire number going “Am I actually watching The Tony Awards??”, it was a brilliant performance, the cast had a blast, John Gallagher Jr. looked GORGEOUS in that suit and the “WTF?” faces of most of the people in the audience made the who thing better!

  watching this from the third mezz, i thought they were going to bring radio city music hall down. SO GOOD
